The COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic seems unprecedented in its impact on the American people. Schools, public facilities, government offices and businesses have closed in an effort to mitigate the spread of the virus. At Agtech, we share that objective.
As we announced on March 13, due to the recent pandemic of Coronavirus, and based on recommendations of governmental officials, AgTech decided to take preventive measures by implementing an immediate companywide pause in business operations.
Given the current state of the Coronavirus pandemic, and based on recommendations of governmental officials, we currently envision the pause in our business operations extending until Monday, April 27th but we will provide an update on Monday, April 13th. We will continue to be guided by the course of the Coronavirus pandemic and may extend the pause further if necessary, to protect the health of employees.
Our HR department is continuing to work directly with affected employees to reduce the financial impact. During this time, all employee medical, dental and other employee benefits remain in effect.
We encourage you to remain vigilant and take appropriate steps to protect yourself against the virus during this critical time.
